Hi ladies!
Today I have a fun and very easy nail art design using loose holographic glitter and a beautiful pink gel polish- Gelish Pacific Sunset.
The design is very sparkly and perfect for a summer vacation, or a night out. Looking at my nails, I imagine I'm in Vegas! It really reminds me of foil nail design, but to create it I used a loose holographic glitter by Young Nails, which I got at Cosmoprof. This glitter is very tiny and beautiful, and it looks great if you decide to create gradient, too.
All I did was to paint my thumb, index and pinky with two coats of Gelish Pacific Sunset. On my middle and ring fingers I applied 1 coat of white gel polish-Gelish Arctic Freeze. Then I mixed some glitter with 2 drops of Gelish top coat and packed it onto the nails, over the white base. White base makes the holo stand out more. I cured it, and repeated the process with another coat of top and glitter mixture. I cured again and added top coat.
I hope you enjoyed the design and keep in mind you can use different colored glitters to create other effects.
The glitter I used is by Young Nails and it is called Hologram, from the Las Vegas Collection IGV25HO. It is available on their web page, but only for licensed professionals. You can also get holographic glitter at any crafts store. It comes in various sizes, but the smaller, the better for this specific design.
