Since Easter is this Sunday, I think it is time to share with you and idea for a Spring/Easter nail design. I am using gel polish in pale yellow , a true Easter color and Easter Bunny decals over white gel polish. This manicure is pretty easy to do, since I'm not drawing or stamping patterns, I just used these beautiful nail decals from www.luckystarstyle.com, and I do recommend this website! They have some nice and colorful water nail decals, which are perfect to create a sophisticated design without drawing.
The base gel color in pale yellow is from Artistic Nail Design. I first saw it on Andrea from Chickette's Blog. (Gteat blog, with a lot of gel polish nail art and swatches, check it out: www.chickettes.com. The color is called "Flawless" and I got it from Amazon. Honestly I love the color, but it was very difficult to work with it! It wrinkled a lot, when using UV lamp. I applied very thin coats, but it wrinkled after each one. Then I removed it and tried using LED lamp, but it wrinkled in the same way as it did when using UV lamp. After 3 thin coats I applied 2 coats of Gelish Top It Off and it looked a little better, but I can still see some wrinkling. Otherwise the pale yellow cream shade is very nice, but I don't know if I'll be getting other colors from this brand.
On the Ring finger I applied 2 coats of Gelish Arctic Freeze and an Easter Bunny Nail Decal from lucky star and then 2 caters of top coat.
Here is the finished manicure :) (Excuse the cut on my index finger :( )
I hope you have a great Easter!
