I've got a simple manicure idea today, that is perfect for the holidays.
I used red gel polish (Gelish Cruisin' The Boulevard) and nail foils in gold, silver, blue, hot pink and green on the accent (ring) fingernail.
To create the foil effect (which reminds me of Christmas), after applying 2 coats of Gelish Cruisin' the Bouleverd, or any other red you'd like, I then applied a thin coat of foundation gel and cured it. Then I cut small pieces of foil in different colors and pressed the foils at random spots of the nail to create a sparkly effect. I then applied a coat of top.

Gelish Cruisin' The Boulevard is a limited edition color. You can use any other red gel color.
I get my nail foils on Amazon and almost never use nail foil adhesive, when working with gels. I just use base coat, because it sticks better.
