Opi Gel Color Pedal Faster Suzi! With Crystals Nail Art

O.P.I. Gel Color Pedal Faster Suzi!

Hi ladies!
Today I have a swatch of O.P.I. Gelcolor soak-off gel laquer called Pedal Faster Suzi!. It is a pretty old color, but I normally don't buy O.P.I. gel color polishes, I do prefer Gelish. O.P.I.'s gel polishes are pretty good, but I do not have a lot of them, They are good quality and just as durable as Gelish. It is just that I don't have their top and base (not that I can't use them with Gelish's top and base) and they are a little more expensive, that's why I haven't been buying them.




This color was actually given to me by a friend, who uses O.P.I., but when getting this one did not realize it had shimmer. She obviously doesn't like shimmer and gave it to me. I do not mind shimmer, in polishes, especially this kind - very fine silver one, which is just perfect for this light pink.

I applied the polish on 3 coats and I used Gelish's top and base coats. It is pretty opaque with 3 coats.

I also decided to add some nail art, as the polish is nice, but too plain on my nails.
I applied these 2 mm crystal clear nail art studs I got on Etsy, covering the middle finger, and a couple on studs on each index, pinky and thumb. On the ring finger I placed a metal pink and crystal nail art bow.
To place the crystals and the bow, I applied base coat and then carefully arranged them on the nails. Then I cured the base coat. I applied 2 coats of Gelish top coat, to set them in place.
