Hi everyone!
As I mentioned at a previous post I got invited by Preen.me/Beauty Addicts to take part at Sally Hansen's #iHeartNailArt contest.
The contest ends on July 31st 2014 and each month Sally Hansen chooses theme for nail art designs that nail artists should create and submit to their website, Facebook Page, Twitter or Instagram accounts.
The theme for this month (May '14) is "Color Destinations".
I created a nail design using Sally Hansen Nail Polishes, that I called "Tropical Escape".

Here is the nail design:
On my thumb and ring fingers I applied white nail polish. Then with a sponge I created yellow and blue gradient representing sand and water. On all my other nails I have a light blue base (Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Blue-Away). On my index finger I drew starfish with coral nail polish. On my middle finger I drew a wave using a brush and sponge. (Please let me know if you want a tutorial on how to draw a wave). On my pinky finger I drew sun using a brush and yellow polish.
