Ever since I received Gelish Colors of Paradise Collection I've been very happy to play with the colors and create some nail designs.
I am starting with a very simple marble design, using my favorite, very easy technique for marbling with gel polish. The selection of colors in this collection makes it really easy to create various colorful marble designs.
I created two designs using the same technique, just changing the colors.
I decided to record a quick video (sorry I'm still new to video tutorials and not that good at them) to show you how exactly to achieve the look. This is a really good way for marbling gel polishes, but it can also be done with regular polish. No additional brushes needed, you just use the brush from your gel polish top coat. It is great for beginner gel polish nail artists, who don't want to spend a lot of time on nail designs, but still want to have nice gel manicure.
After applying a white (or any color) light base gel polish, you remove the sticky layer. Then you apply many random dots from gel polish in different colors.
With your gel polish top coat and a good amount of top on it you blend the colors together going back and forth, starting from top going to bottom.
The first nail design was done with Gelish Rub Me the Sarong Way on all nails but the ring finger. On the ring finger I have Gelish Arctic Freeze as a base and Gelish- Lime All the Time, Mali Blu-Me Away and Rub Me the Sarong Way as marbling colors.
The second nail design was done with Gelish Rockin' the Reef on all nails, but the ring finger. On the ring finger , again I applied Gelish Arctic Freeze as a base and I used Gelish- Tahiti Hottie, Pacific Sunset and Rocking the Reef as marbling colors.
