Cupcake Nail Design Using Decals And Gelaze by China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy

Cupcake Nail Design

Hi everyone! Today's nail design is inspired by my love for cupcakes. I created this manicure using a cupcake water nail decal from Lucky Star Decals. 

Recently I placed an order with them and they were very nice to me and sent me some samples, which I really liked.














The colors I used for the design are gel polish colors - Gelaze by China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy and Gelish Arctic Freeze on my ring finger as a base for the nail sticker.
I recorded a quick video to show you how exactly I apply nail water decals over gel polish.
After applying 2 coats of Arctic Freeze on my ring finger and curing them, I removed the sticky layer with a lint free alcohol wipe. Then I cut the decal out and removed the clear plastic coat and placed the decal (image facing towards the polish) on the nail. I applied some water using a brush, so the decal can separate from the paper and remain on the nail. After it dried I applied Gelish top coat and cured it. Then I removed the sticky layer with alcohol wipe.
